The beautiful village of Marseillan lies on the Mediterranean coast of France between Montpellier and Narbonne. Founded by Greeks around 200 B.C. the village has a long history as both a trading centre and a fishing port. Unlike many parts of the South of France the village is completely unspoilt and offers visitors a real flavour of french life. |

Many buildings date from over 800 years when the original city wall was constructed and this still dictates the main town plan. The village boasts a large selection of cafes, restaurants and bistros, a bustling twice weekly local market and the port and marina all of which are within easy walking distance from our villa. |

The Villa offers a high standard of accommodation, purchased in Summer 2006 it is has been completely refurbished and redesigned throughout with no expense spared. Local landscapers have helped to tastefully redesign the gardens and we have also installed a bespoke heated swimming pool complete with separate children's pool area. |

Internally we have created 6 beautiful bedrooms all with individually controlled air conditioning to accommodate up to 11 guests. The kitchen has been completely refitted with all modern appliances and there is a lounge area with flat screen TV, DVD, Satellite and Hi-Fi. An internal dining area leads to a sunny balcony with electric awning for relaxing outside and enjoying views over the Lac de Thau which stretches from Sete to the entrance of the Canal du Midi and beyond to the Mediterranean sea. |
